Description
Summary:The study aimed to know the extent to which the university of Sheba administration applies the principles of quality in higher education and the viewpoint of professors on the necessity of selecting for higher administrative positions, and the extent to which the quality of university administration contributes to achieving job stability and decision-making. A questionnaire was distributed for the study to a sample of 39 professors at the University of Sheba Province. The study concluded that the university administration seeks to apply the principles and culture of administrative quality, but it is ineffective and insufficient to achieve the best performance of the university professor, It is also necessary to select for senior management positions according to some personal characteristics, values, and some behavioural skills, such as social competence and leadership behaviour, therefore, visions and preferences differed among professors regarding the importance of stability for some high quality positions.
