Summary: | The inner experiences of the independant businessman. In this study the inner experiences of the independant businessman is described and analised. An exploratory, descriptive, qualitative and contextual design was used. Phenomenological semistructured interviews were conducted with a purposively selected sample of fifteen independant businessmen. A literature control was conducted as a reliability measure. The insight gained from this research contributes to a better understanding of the total life experiences of the independant businessman. The results can be operationalised in further research and practice with a view to promoting the mental health of the independant businessman. Opsomming In hierdie studie word die beleweniswereld van die onafhanklike sakeman verken en beskryf. 'n Verkennende, beskrywende, kwalitatiewe en kontekstuele ontwerp is gebruik. Fenomenologiese semi-gestruktureerde onderhoude is gevoer met 'n doelgerigte geselekteerde steekproef van vyftien onafhanklike sakemanne. 'n Literatuurkontrolc is uitgevoer as betroubaarhcidsmaatreel. Die insig verkry uit hierdie navorsing dra by tot meer begrip van die totale beleweniswereld van die onafhanklike sakeman. Die resultate kan operasionaliseer word in verdere navorsing sowel as in die praktyk ten einde die geestesgesondheid van die onafhanklike sakeman te bevorder. |
