Description
Summary:The number of species of Stomatopoda recorded from the Turkish coasts has risen to eight with this report, in which the addition of Allosquilla africana (Manning, 1970) to the known Turkish carcinological fauna is recorded. Thus, a concise overview of the hitherto known species is presented, including the depth range, biotope, distribution, and abundance of the species at issue. Also, a key for the identification of the stomatopods known to occur in the Mediterranean Sea is provided.
