Description
Summary:Studies on the feasibility and economics of treating manure from cattle feedlots by pyrolysis to produce synthesis gas are reported. The results indicate that only large-scale processing under the most favourable conditions would be economically competitive for commercial use; it would be applicable only in high-density cattle-feeding regions where there were potential uses for the gas.
