Discovery of Early Cambrian Fossils at Taylor Nunatak, Antarctica

Specimens referred to Cloudina? occur in a limestone breccia at the top of Taylor Nunatak, central Transantarctic Mountains, Antarctica. They suggest an Early Cambrian age and are similar to material found in the province of San Juan, Argentina.
