Description
Summary:The general dysfunctions resulting from the separation of practioners & res'ers in the field of correction are described. The means by which both groups fail to contribute to the development of a sci'fic penology as a result of diff evaluations of a relatively similar frame of reference is explored. The common elements in their respective frame of reference, & the requirements of a sci'fic penology, suggests the need for closer working relationships between practitioner & res`er. A general model for evaluation in correction is presented the steps by which integrative efforts can be attempted are explored on the basis of the model. HA.
