Description
Summary:The domain structure of the ferroelastic crystal K sub(2)Cd sub(2)(SO sub(4)) sub(3) was observed and investigated in detail, in different temperature regions below T sub(c) using a polarizing microscope. It is shown that the appearance of a domain structure depends on crystal thickness and the domain structure can have a time dependent dynamic. The orientation of the domain walls in potassium-cadmium langbeinite crystals has been determined.
