Description
Summary:Measuring use for electronic resources, however, can be more complicated. Localized vendor-provided metrics such as log-ons and downloads can no longer be the primary factor in assessing electronic resource use. Many instances of electronic resource use remain unobserved and uncounted because it takes place outside the library. Multiple access points, such as Google Scholar, also keep patrons unaware of their use of library resources.
