Description
Summary:Statement of the problem. The problem of this study is to investigate through analyzation and comparison the present and future methods of teaching. There is a crucial necessity to train teachers differently in order to bring about change in the public schools. This study in its comparison and analyzation of past, present, and future teaching methods may expose the need for more effective processes of education. Major conclusions. (1) Teachers must be taught in the same manner in which they are to teach. (2) The training of teachers must be taken out of the narrow confines of educational method courses. (3) The content of teacher education should be merged with the methods. (4) The schools of education must come out of isolation and for that matter the other faculities also. (5) The content of education must be confronted with intellectual honesty. (6) There is a definite need to provide each future teacher with a broad theoritical background in the sciences.
