Ruminal planktonic, weakly, and tightly feedadhered bacterial community as affected by two Trichoderma reesei enzyme preparations fed to lactating cattle
An abstract of a study by Romero et al comparing effects of 2 T. reesei enzyme preparations on the ruminal planktonic or the weakly or tightly feed-adhered ruminal bacterial community (fractions; FRC) of lactating dairy cows is presented. Summary: | An abstract of a study by Romero et al comparing effects of 2 T. reesei enzyme preparations on the ruminal planktonic or the weakly or tightly feed-adhered ruminal bacterial community (fractions; FRC) of lactating dairy cows is presented. The weighted UniFrac distance showed only community structure differences between FRC. Both high-xylanase and xylanase activities of the moderate modified the bacterial community profile and diversity of the rumen fractions. |
