Summary: | Home monitoring by her daughter revealed that most episodes of hemoptysis occurred around midnight when her systolic blood pressure was elevated. Pathology demonstrated acute and chronic bronchitis, severe bronchiectasis, subpleural interstitial fibrosis, and embolic material with vascular occlusion but no vasculitis. Since discharge, she has had rare episode of scant hemoptysis and is feeling well. |
