Summary: | A standardized assessment of functioning in patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is necessary in order to assess clinical manifestations, disease activity, and physical and overall functioning as objectively as possible. The standardized assessment is based on domains such as disease activity, quality of life, functioning and employment but also on individual aspects such as pain, arthritis and enthesitis. Domains and individual aspects are mainly collected and better known as patient reported outcomes. (J Rheum Dis 2020;27:22-29) |
