Description
Summary:The load restoration in power distribution systems has a crucial role for the electric utilities, since term goals of duration and frequency of outages are set by regulators. In this context, Metaheuristic and Implicit Enumeration techniques are proposed to treat the problem of restoration, with the objective of assisting decision making during contingencies. In this paper, two approaches are proposed for the optimization: (1) Metaheuristic, based on ILS (Iterated Local Search), and (2) Implicit Enumeration, based on exhaustive search. To validate the proposed methodology, the IEEE 16 bar system and a real system with 703 bars and 132 equipment were tested, which were submitted to single and multiple failure situations. Satisfactory results were obtained with low computational time, attending to all operational needs.
