Summary: | Expert systems have been introduced into many different areas of engineering. The demand for introducing the human knowledge in solving complicated problems of signal and image processing, such as nonlinear filtering, has also been increased recently. This paper presents a viable solution to the problem of filtering in signal and image processing and analysis by building a knowledge-based expert system. This system takes into account the parameters specified by the user, the input data, and the extracted measurements to find the best output. |
