Description
Summary:This article proposes to analyze three paintings from the series "The Amazon Rain-forest", by the visual artist Claudia Matoos. It is a look, from two authors, of her intellectual universe: Schiller and Kosuth. From the first she extracted the concept of the artist as a son of his time, from the second of art as philosophy in images. Her paintings express the difficult paths humanity is going through, with the vulnerability ofthe forests and indigenous peoples. She works on the concept of "Connections", in other words, "Local Thinking is also Global Thinking" This series makes us feel the rawness of our times.
