Description
Summary:This book is a compilation of 100 learning games for infants from birth to 6 months of developmental age. Most of the learning games involve infant-adult interaction and are for either parents or child care professionals. Each game is presented on a double-page spread so that it may be found quickly and used easily. The description of each game provides information in a brief, ready-reference style on the right-hand page and in greater detail on the left. Each side is divided into two main sections. The first section on each side tells how to play the game and is illustrated with photos, and the second section gives reasons for playing the game. The games are arranged in six sections, each spanning about a half-year of developmental age. The games are arranged within each section in approximate order of increasing difficulty. (Author/SS)
