Description
Summary:This paper prosposes a new hybrid method for optimisation of the control of spatial mechanisms using genetic algorithms and ant colony. The new method is a combination of ant colony and genetic algorithm with very meanfull results. It can be apllied on a big variety of spatial control systems. Robotic systems, CNC machining systems, Coordinate measuring machines, e.t.c. In order to evaluate the proposed methodology genetic algorithm and a combination of genetic algorithm and ant colony are compared. The results of the comparison shows that the hybrid algorithm can optimize the value of the fitness function up to 95% and the execution time is optimizing up to 81%.
