Description
Summary:This article is part of an ongoing Master's degree research. Initially, the study was based on problems caused by uncritical adaptations of complete e-commerce sites to be accessed via smartphones. After conducting an exploratory research, it was noticed that the barrier most faced by users was independent of the device; it was related to the lack of confidence users have in the measurements of the apparel manufactured by the Brazilian clothing industry. This issue, in addition to being a usability problem by inducing users to error, had a great impact on the user experience (UX). The implementation of an exploratory research as an initial research approach proved to be essential for unveiling the problems faced by users in continuously expanding area in Brazil and worldwide.
