Description
Summary:Melt crystallization peculiarities of the system have been investigated by means of X-Ray diffraction and microstructure analysis. It is shown that content changing of hexagonal tungsten carbide in the mixture essentially influences processes of phases formation at crystallization. It is ascertained that tungsten carbide having hexagonal structure partly transforms to the double carbide FeW3C, which under the terms of carbon shortage transits to superlattices of the type M6C.
