Summary: | This report outlines and discusses the insights on how to manage shot-term absenteeism within the workplace, as well as point out themes related to human resource management. Additionally, management considerations have been discussed such as “Fit Notes” and “Presenteeism”. As well as, a focus was placed on additional areas of concern within the U.S.A. in the form of bullying and harassment. Finally, was conducted a survey method within a class at the University of Limerick where 100% of the sample are workers. Therefore, the trends and patterns section outlined a Class Survey, methods for measuring absenteeism and triggers associated with the concept. |
