Summary:	A historical sequence of the initial stages and practice of dental radiology among us, is here depicted. This activity began its manifestation in the 1910's decade and was to be enforced by the Radiology and Physiotherapy Course when doctorate was created at the Dental School of Buenos Aires in 1920. W.C. Röntgen's trascendent discovery, X rays in 1895, is the basic knowledge of the technical amplitude in the present specialty in images diagnosis.
