Cytoarchitectonics of lymph node parenchyma during exposure to increased pressure

Quantitative relations between the lymphoid tissue cells in various zones of the popliteal lymph node were stated in mice kept in the barochamber under pressure of 3 atm for 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 6 days. Decreasing number of small lymphocytes and reticular cells was observed. The number of middle lymphoc...

Description
Summary:Quantitative relations between the lymphoid tissue cells in various zones of the popliteal lymph node were stated in mice kept in the barochamber under pressure of 3 atm for 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 6 days. Decreasing number of small lymphocytes and reticular cells was observed. The number of middle lymphocytes increased at the beginning, and the large ones--after the first day of the experiment. Fluctuations in the number of plasmic cells demonstrate their sensibility to an increased pressure.
