Summary: | A case study of a process used to evaluate the effectiveness of mental care programs. To integrate scientific rigor into their business operations, MCC Behavioral Care, Inc, associated itself with the Instit for Health Services Research at the U of Minnesota. The university scientifically assesses a continuous flow of baseline & case-mix data obtained from MCC's clients. This data assessment tool, now limited to substance abusers at three clinics, offers the possibility of a managed approach to the delivery of care that can benefit customers, clinicians, & health care organizations. 6 References.
