Description
Summary:122 patients with acute myocardial infarction showing a positive antianginal response to nitroglycerin were examined. With the patients under continuous haemodynamic control including pulmonary artery catheterization the circulatory response to various nitrates administered orally, sublingually or transdermally was investigated. A safe time interval was determined for each drug to ensure stability of the attained wedge pressure reduction.
