Summary:The optical spectra of samples of double zirconium molybdates activated by rare-earth Pr{sup 3+} and Nd{sup 3+} ions are studied. The presence of bands corresponding to the 4f–4f transitions of Pr{sup 3+} and Nd{sup 3+} trivalent ions in the absorption, excitation, and luminescence spectra is shown. A strong dependence of the luminescence intensity of Pr{sup 3+} ions on temperature is revealed.
