By understanding determinants of Indigenous health, our health systems can tailor care protocols and patient resources, given that the integration of Indigenous healing practices into medical practice improves Indigenous health outcomes.

Next, we can advocate at the federal level for expansion and funding of the Indian Health Service, tribal health programs, and urban Indian health programs.
