Validation of Hertz Theory in order to increase the efficiency of gear element (Plastic and Fiber)

Summary: | Basically, mechanically designs are designed in a way that advantage industrial level and primary level with some major elements. These elements can be defined as the cost effectivity, factor of safety and the assembly used in manufacturing the machine. Hertz defined this theory as the calculation of the area and the pressure created by the contact of the two surfaces, which further specifies and predicts the maximum stress an object can bear. The following paper discusses this theory. |
