Metal slab waveguide reflector design for high reflection mirrors on very compact waveguides

Very high reflectance and small size metal slab waveguide reflectors that can be integrated with very compact waveguides are designed and simulated. Reflectance approaching 100% is possible for 1 mum long metal slab waveguide reflector.
