Summary:The purpose of this paper is to present an algorithm of image processing dedicated for analysis of a bulk solid transport in pneumatic conveying installation. The flow analysis was conducted with aid of images gathered from CCD sensor. The obtained, preliminary results allow to track the changes of settled layer of material in horizontal part of installation. This information provides significant knowledge about flow conditions.
