Summary:This paper proposes a brand new strategy of pitch control, a PID-Fuzzy control for nonlinear plants, applied to a small wind turbine of 20 [kW]. The modelling and parameter identification of a 20 [kW] wind turbine will be reviewed, treating the main problem of pitch control, how to address the non-linearity of the system. On the other hand, the performance of the proposed strategy will be compared with other 2 strategies of pitch control, linear control (PID) and Fuzzy control.
