Description
Summary:Single-phase collector motors are widely used in modern domestic appliances and electrical hand tools. Their work is accompanied by radio interference generation in a wide range of frequencies and their diffusion in electrical network. Besides, there is a problem of electromagnetic compatibility of single-phase collector motors and other domestic appliances with radio-electronic systems, such as computers, radio and television devices. Decrease of radio interference level in the origin is one of the perspective ways to solve this problem. It is very efficient especially in high frequencies of a protected range from 0.15 to 30 MHz. The authors describe how the main reason of radio interference appearance while using single-phase collector motors is the sparking between the brush and collector.
