Description
Summary:This paper presents a circuitry with the soft switching technique of dual PDM and PWM method in Induction Heating. This scheme can be utilized both in single-phase and three-phase circuits. This system can be used in surface heating, super-heated steam, removal of ice from railway track turnout, in medical applications such as Dental casting etc. Here regulation of power can easily be done from rated power to low power. To extend the wide range of power output regulation a dual-mode high-frequency Pulse width modulation (PWM) in synchronization with positive and negative cycle of utility side frequency and pulse density modulation (PDM) is shown. Simulation results are shown to verify the proposed circuit.
