Summary:Indian irrigation covers just a third of the nation's total land area; the country ranks second in global irrigated areas. Rains are inconsistent and there is a lack of water. Most of the regions need canals to be constructed for irrigation that does not rely on rainfall. When it comes to irrigation, efficient water use is critical for the process. Intelligent irrigation is where most farmers begin their transition to IoT agriculture. Optimizing the water schedule and amount may save water, money, and yield the best produce on the field. Farm irrigation systems get soil moisture and temperature data from sensors using sensor-based IoT technology. In response to these indications, a platform activates drip irrigation when there is insufficient moisture in the soil. While watering plants, our article aims to reduce water use by using a more efficient method.The proposed system makes use of sensors such as soil moisture sensors and temperature sensors. To communicate with Blynk, data is sent via the microcontroller. Blynk is used to monitor the data, while the cloud is utilised to store it. Using this technology, watering may be automated and monitored at the same time.
