Summary:The singular integral equation technique and local coordinate system method are used for mathematical modelling of acoustic waves' scattering by multi level coplanar system of flat pre-fractal impedance strip gratings. Main attention is focussed on some types of one-dimensional self similar fractals with variable fractal dimension. It is important to have huge sets of pre-fractals for usage in construction of flat pre-fractal impedance strip gratings. The simplest two level coplanar system of pre-fractal grating is studied in detail. In particular, asymptotic model of the acoustic wave scattering by such weakly filled system, which has explicit solution, is presented.
