Description
Summary:The substantial development of wireless communication services has resulted in the increased distribution of artificial electromagnetic fields (EMF) in the environment. Accordingly, the natural EMF level has been noticeably increased, triggering the general public concerns on potentially unhealthy effects of EMF radiation in their surroundings. Those concerns require persistent EMF investigation, initiating the establishment of several innovative systems for longterm EMF monitoring. The latest one is the Serbian EMF RATEL system, which uses wireless monitoring stations, joined in the unified wireless network. In this paper, a model of a platform for information logistics intended for the information management of heterogeneous configuration of autonomous, wireless EMF monitoring stations, implemented in the Serbian EMF RATEL system, is presented.
