Description
Summary:This paper describes the demonstration of synchrophasor-based application for real-time monitoring, analysis, and situational awareness of ComEd Bronzeville Community Microgrid (BCM). A real-time situational awareness platform described in this paper utilizes Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) for distribution three phase linear state estimation, including observability analysis, bad data detection, optimal PMU placement, and topology change detection. Demonstration of the PMU-based platform was performed in ComEd's real-time digital simulation (RTDS) environment.
