Summary: | The article deals with exploitation of online and printed versions of tests in the field of scientific reasoning and metacognitive monitoring. The main objective is to prove whether results in both administration modes of testing are identical. However, designing online tests is less time and work demanding, and moreover, automatic evaluation tools can be used. Totally, 115 students were tested by Lawson's test. The received results were discussed with emphasis on designers of educational and curricular concepts of the pre-service teacher education, particularly reflecting students' low level of scientific reasoning and high value of absolute accuracy which indicates high level of inaccuracy in confidence judgement of their own performance compared to the real situation. |
