Summary:The principles of integration of non-equilibrium-positional coding into the technology of compression of transformed images are considered as an alternative to probability-statistical methods of coding, which can provide high compression ratios without loss of information quality. The ways of eliminating contradictions between the need to reduce code redundancy and the requirement to determine the boundaries of codewords bearing information about the value of the code quantity are proposed.
