Description
Summary:For coded multiuser systems, an iterative receiver consisting of a soft-input soft-output (SISO) multiuser detector and a bank of single-user (SISO) decoders can provide a system performance which approaches that of the single user system after many iterations. In this paper, we transform the traditional linear multiuser detectors, namely the decorrelator and MMSE detector, into SISO detectors which can cooperate with single-user decoders iteratively. The resulting system performance converges quickly, while the computational complexity is proportional to the number of users squared. Both performance analysis and simulation results are provided. Finally, the comparison between these two types of linear SISO detectors is presented.
