Spin Resonance in Massive Samples of Antiferromagnet (Weak Ferromagnet) FeBO3

Summary: | In antiferromagnet FeBO 3 the new spin resonance in a millimeter wave band for variable electric field E at T=77K is revealed. The resonance has been observed at frequency v 1 of uniform resonance for low branch of spin excitations at H = 2H res , were H res is the field of uniform magnetic resonance. It is explained by a quadratic in E magnetoelectric effect, which is permitted in centrosymmetrical antiferromagnets. |
