Description
Summary:With its approach for an integrated, inherently multi-vendor, open systems and standards-based, multimedia content creation, adaptation, protection and distribution, the architecture presented in this paper stands poised to pave way for a paradigm shift in the industry, providing a method for secure content delivery and consumption under a regime of assured e2e QoS (end-to-end quality-of-service). This paper is intended to demonstrate how content creation, distribution and consumption devices from different vendors may be easily integrated and work together under a unified MPEG-21 compliant architecture to provide the set of tools to achieve digital rights management and to provide the basis for a spectrum of diverse practical usage models.
