Soft modes behavior in bilayer (Ba,Sr)TiO3/(Ba,Sr)TiO3 heterostructures

We studied the bilayer heterostructures with the different consequence of the Ba 0.4 Sr 0.6 TiO 3 and Ba 0.8 Sr 0.2 TiO 3 layers grown on the single-crystal MgO and Si substrates. The thermodynamic theory for the heterostructures was developed. Based on the experimental data, we determined the therm...

Description
Summary:We studied the bilayer heterostructures with the different consequence of the Ba 0.4 Sr 0.6 TiO 3 and Ba 0.8 Sr 0.2 TiO 3 layers grown on the single-crystal MgO and Si substrates. The thermodynamic theory for the heterostructures was developed. Based on the experimental data, we determined the thermal deformation parameters in the Ba 0.4 Sr 0.6 TiO 3 and Ba 0.8 Sr 0.2 TiO 3 layers, forming the bilayer structures. These parameters are used to plot the temperature dependence of the soft modes in each layer.
