Summary: | In this paper, the performance analysis for detection of an object using Radio Detection and Ranging (Radar) is earned out. There are some applications such as missiles where the objects are to be invisible by Radar by suitably designing Radar Cross Section (RCS) for simpler bodies with appropriate coating with lossy materials. We earned out the performance analysis to identify the detectability of an object for a Radar The scheme is validated for various sizes of simple objects such as sphere, cube and cylinder having different dielectric constants using Method of Moments. We used FEKO software to validate the results. The reduction of RCS is observed for bodies coated with lossy materials are compared to an dielectric. |
