Summary: | A compact L-slot loaded planar inverted F antenna is presented. The proposed antenna has a compact size of 10 × 40 × 6mm3. The measured and simulated results show that antenna operates in two bands centered around 1.5GHz and 2.4GHz with nearly omnidirectional radiation pattern in the entire operating band. It offers a peak gain of 2.4dBi at 1.5GHz and 7dBi at 2.4GHz with an average efficiency of 82%, 97% respectively. |
