Summary: | This article investigates the process of development and practical implementation of an innovative method of information coding aimed at improving its reliability in the field of information and telecommunication networks. The main goal was to achieve an increase in the bit rate of a dynamic video resource without significant deterioration in image quality and to ensure effective storage of the transmitted information. The relevance of this study is due to the rapid development of information technology and the extraordinary growth in the volume of transmitted information. During the analysis of existing coding methods, a completely new approach was designed and proposed, which included a combination of adaptive quantisation technology and the use of Heminge coding for reliable protection of transmitted information. Thanks to the use of quantisation, it was possible to compress the data for transmission, while preserving important information at the highest level. The authors also noted the importance of testing the results obtained and comparing them with existing methods, which allowed them to conclude on the advantages and possibilities of implementing the proposed method in practice. |
