Underwater LFM Signal Communication Analysis from the On-Site Experiments in West Sea

This paper analyses the performance of LFM signals according to the different underwater and LFM signal time durations. The speed of sound and water temperature were measured to check the underwater communication channel environment. For these experiments, a format is designed to transmit 0.5s, 0.75...

Description
Summary:This paper analyses the performance of LFM signals according to the different underwater and LFM signal time durations. The speed of sound and water temperature were measured to check the underwater communication channel environment. For these experiments, a format is designed to transmit 0.5s, 0.75s, 1s, and 2s LFM signals. Additionally, the format includes a sinusoidal signal for five seconds to measure underwater SNR, Doppler spread, and Doppler Shift.
