Description
Summary:The paper addresses the problem of creating a digital system for objective control of tremor parameters. A portable tremor recording module has been developed, which utilizes a capacitive proximity sensor based on the capacitance-to-frequency conversion. Experimental studies have shown that the sensor's resolution is sufficient to obtain an informative signal for further processing by computational algorithms. The system can be used for both diagnosis of neurological disorders and for the assessment of a person's psychophysical state, particularly for pre-trip monitoring of transportation drivers.
