Abstract Water shortage is a major problem in most of the residential areas. Water level maintaining in the tanks within the safe level is very important to avoid wastages of water. When the pump is turned ON, users will not realize that the water tank is filled, which may result in overflow. Automatic Water level indication can be used to sort out the issues associated with water tank. It is also possible to check the level of the water using sensor so that whenever the water goes below, pump gets turned ON automatically. Also, when there is overflow of water in water tank it uses sensor to detect the water level so that if the water level goes above, the pump gets turned off automatically. This system prevents wastage of water. Also, the need of water can arise at different areas in different times. So, with the help automated distribution system, water can be distributed at required place and at required time. A centralized self-thinking system is made to automatically distribute water. Moreover, the system is powered by Solar Module making it green technology. Also, IoT applications are done to control and monitor the system wirelessly over cloud.
