Summary:The paper discusses a planar microwave diagonal stub loaded closed loop resonator for glucose monitoring. A resonator designed and tested for glucose sensing application based on change in dielectric permittivity and loss tangent of loaded glucose samples. The sensing property of the designed sensor is studied based on analyzing the variation in resonant frequency and reflection coefficient on loading sample onto the sensor. Also the influence of the size and quantity of sample loaded and sensing location of the sensor can be calculated. All analyses were done using ANSYS HFSS 2022 simulation software and are experimentally validated using Keysight Vector Network Analyser.
