Summary: | Due to sophisticated procedures and precise control of reagent addition, current commercial competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) measuring the cortisol level in body fluid consumes considerable time over 1 hour. In order to solve these problems, we fabricated a portable easy-operated ELISA microfludic system, combining the electrospun polystyrene (PS) microfibrous reactor instead of a typical 96-well microplate, by which the whole procedure from beginning to data analyzing takes only 15 minutes. |
